An unexpected announcement is that EA Sports are releasing UEFA Euro 2012 as DLC for FIFA 12.  It will include all 53 UEFA nations and the 8 stadiums that will be used during the event.  It includes a

a new mode called Expedition mode which has you start out with your FIFA 12 Virtual Pro or your favorite European superstar on a tour of all the international teams with each victory you can choose a player from the team you just defeated.

CPU players have been infused with self-awareness and aptitude, enabling them to make decisions based on their own skills as well as the strengths and attributes of their teammates.
