Four years have passed since the Shaper's defeat through the use of Archfire. New game from SCS Software Studio originally was not intended to compete with the global Euro Truck Simulator 2, but in this “byproduct” was still achieved a level of quality that is far ahead of all previously released games from this company. At first glance, the game is reminiscent of the recent Trucks & Trailers, but on closer examination we see that in the new game we are waiting a lot. Of course, the gameplay is limited solely by truck Scania R-series, but it’s not so bad.

Entertaining piece of this phase is the dynamic movement of the time. So, the longer you repeat failed attempts, the closer will be an evening, and in the dark with limited visibility, the difficult task even more difficult.

While many were hopeful that diplomacy would finally end the war, differing opinions on what should be done, along with the depleted power of the controlling factions, has led to a splintering of the groups involved.

The loyalist members of the Trader Emergency Coalition adopt a policy of isolation, focusing on enhanced defenses to ride out the rest of the war. Those who rebel against the coalition take on a purely militant view, coming to the opinion that the only way to bring peace is by ultimately crushing all who oppose them – especially xenos.

For the first time in their history, the war creates a schism in the Advent Unity. The loyalists seek to continue their policy of revenge against the Traders, and to assimilate all others to the Unity’s influence. However, others amongst the Advent suspect that a corrupting influence from within has diverted the Unity from its proper destiny.

The divide created in the Vasari Empire is less pronounced, but just as severe to their people. With the Vasari now practically frantic to move on to new space, the loyalist faction abandons cooperation and decides to take the resources they need by any means necessary. Having accepted the need to work together, the rebel faction feels that their best chance for survival is to work with the other races and bring them along to flee the approaching enemy.

The story takes place in southern Poland during the Soviet Offensive in the summer of 1944. In Port Royale 3, players will embark upon an epic adventure through the Caribbean during the turbulent 17th century where the naval powers of Spain, England, France and the Netherlands all fight for supremacy in the colonies. Players take on the role of a young captain trying to build his fortune and reputation in the new world colonies. The campaign consists of two different paths for the young protagonist to follow: adventurer and trader.Following the path of the adventurer will lead the player on a naval conquest where they must gain notoriety through raids, piracy, bounty hunting, plundering and conquering cities as they strive to build their new Caribbean empire.
